Five sons and daughters of union members won a total of $1,400 in awards in the Society’s 2017-18 Labor History Essay Contest. The winners were:
First place ($500) to Connor Drake, 12th grade, Oregon HS, Oregon
Second place ($300) to Grace Parlier, 12th grade at Dominican HS, Milwaukee
Third place ($200 each) to:
Jacob Theisen, 12th grade at Neenah HS, Neenah
Payton G. Malone, 12th grade at Menonomee Falls HS, Menomonee Falls
Gabby Goode, 9th grade at The Prairie School, Racine
